We are pleased to announce our antimicrobial technology has been selected as a winner of the “Low Water, Blue Stain-Free Wood Challenge.”
Foresight Canada ran the open innovation challenge in collaboration with CMPC — one of the biggest worldwide pulp and paper companies. As part of CMPC’s commitment to the environment, this challenge centers around developing an antifungal solution to prevent blue staining of timber and products whilst reducing reliance on water, one of our most precious resources.
Our antimicrobial products can be tailored to address a broad range of real-world problems and we are always looking for new partners to collaborate with. This challenge has opened a door into a new industry (pulp and paper) for Inhibit Coatings. The opportunity to work collaboratively with CMPC will allow us to work through some unique challenges in this industry.
We look forward to overcoming these challenges to make an environmentally friendly, practical, cost-effective solution.
